Our Founder – A Visionary Entrepreneur
At the heart of Al-Mela’s success lies the vision and leadership of Mr. Mohammed Noohu Nazir, the Founder and Managing Director of Al-Mela International Pvt. Ltd.
Born and raised in Kallambalam, a picturesque village in the capital city of Kerala — famously known as God’s Own Country — Mr. Nazir’s journey is a story of ambition, perseverance, and global experience. After completing his basic education, he began his professional career in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, where his entrepreneurial spirit took root.
In 1985, he established Al-Ayad International Pvt. Ltd., a reputed LLC company engaged in the marketing of imported confectioneries from countries such as Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, and serving as an authorized agent for Sweets of Oman.
Driven by his passion to bring world-class confectionery experiences to his homeland, Mr. Nazir extended his business to India in 2004, founding Al-Mela International Pvt. Ltd. With a clear vision to create a brand that stands for quality and trust, he laid the foundation of what would become one of India’s most beloved chocolate manufacturing companies.
Under his leadership, Al-Mela has grown from a small confectionery initiative into a nationally recognized chocolate brand that continues to win hearts, celebrations, and moments across the country.
